Romeo & Juliet
I went to Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival's performance of Romeo & Juliet twice and I love it! I would go again if I could. Everything about it is modern, with an antique twist on it. I wrote Carl Howell (Romeo) and Angela Janas (Juliet) letters and at the Curtain Call, Angela smiled and waved at me! it was the best!
Also, Lucky Tails Animal Rescue has another doggie in available for adoption. His name is Romeo and he is a sweet, little yorkie/terrier mix that is good with other dogs, playful and full of life and spunk. He's looking for a warm and loving home.

Spider-Man
Wow! One of the Spider-Man stunt doubles just leapt into the
air and is swinging around the theatre. He passes over my head and leaps onto
the Green Goblin’s back. You can see him battering the Goblin with his fists
and just when the Goblin is preparing to launch a deathly blow, Spider-Man
leaps out of the way and disappears onto a landing mat no larger than a coffee
table.

Spider-man Turn Off the Dark!
For my birthday, I got to go see Spiderman Turn off the dark again! Since I've been talking about it non stop since I was lucky enough to go see it with my grandparents. It is the most amazing show!
Afterwards we got to go and meet the star who played Spider-man! I was so excited!
After that we went to a french restaurant to have fondue. Then went home to have ice cream cake and a movie.
It was the best birthday ever!

Rocksis
Rocksis is pretty much the perfect dog, why do you think his name is Rocksis? Because he ROCKS! Rocksis is one of the most mellow dogs I have ever met, who wants nothing more than to cuddle in your lap. He is happiest when he is being touched and loved. He walks beautifully on leash, and does not require much exercise. Rocksis isaround 5 years old and 75 lbs.

Beach Night
6-6-12
Wahoo!
These waves are so much fun! I paddled out into the water on the sled that
Grace and Lilah brought and tried to catch a wave. I didn’t. The sleds are too
floppy to catch a good wave. I wish I brought my boogie board!
The
water at the beach that evening was warm. We arrived at the beach at around
five thirty to meet our friends Grace, Lilah, Marlin, Evren and Kaya. After we played
in the water for a fair bit we went back to the parents to have dinner and a
snack. It was yummy.
Once
our chicken and bars were devoured, Grace, Marlin and I headed out again. We
wanted to go to the same spot we were before (because there was no seaweed
there and Grace loathed seaweed), but we couldn’t find it. During our search, a lady asked if we
could watch her daughter swim for a bit (because she didn’t bring her suit) and
we said yes. Marlin took over that job and we asked her if it was okay for us
to go and swim and she said yes.
Grace
and I got into the water and by that time the waves were getting bigger and even
more fun! Lilah came to join us and when all of us were playing, I put my foot
down and I heard a Crunch! Something pinched my foot! It hurt! I paddled back
to shore to look at my foot and couldn’t see anything so I got back into the
water and Lilah asked me if I wanted to paddle out far with her and I said
sure. We were out pretty far when Grace and Marlin yelled at us, “Hey Guys!” They
yelled, “The parents said we weren’t allowed to go farther out than our
belly-buttons!” “Our Belly Buttons!” I yelled back in shock. By now we were
already over our heads! They nodded. I wanted to go negotiate with the parents
because that was a ridiculous rule!
Running
back to the parents, we negotiated with them to alter their rule. They agreed
to let us go farther than our belly buttons. We said yes and decided to go back
into the water. Grace and I tried to duck dive with the sleds like surfers and
it was really fun!
Before
long we came out and all of us decided to play a big game of Frisbee and go on
the swings. Grace and I amused ourselves by running by the swingers without
getting hit and we were lucky that we didn’t even though it was enjoyable!
After a giant game of Frisbee, Grace, Lilah
and I went back into the water to play and it was the best! The water was the
warmest and the waves were the biggest and it was so much fun! Soon the parents
gave us the two-minute warning and then the “time to go”. We walked back to our
cars and said bye! By that time the sky was getting darker and on the way home
there was a big storm! I really enjoyed the waves at the beach!

Castles in the Sand
My friends and I just did a Castles in the Sand Contest. That is where lots of people get together to make sandcastles to support the community. We participated in it for the first time on Saturday May 12th. We decided to make a dog family. We called our castle 'My Dog Digs!'. It was so much fun!

Simon
Simon is a 2½ year old Bull Terrier looking for love! Simon is extremely loving, playful, loyal, housebroken, and obedient. He is an energetic, goofy, affectionate guy who longs for a home where he will get plenty of exercise and attention.
After a long walk or a play session, Simon is content to relax at home. Simon gets along with some dogs, but would probably do best in a home where he is the only pooch. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped for his new home.
Simon is located at PAWS in Norwalk.

Shelter Dogs
With so many homeless animals being euthanized every year, it is critical to make sure that people get educated about how to help. That's why I am going to feature a certain shelter dog on my blog every time I do a post. Here is today's dog:
Effie
Effie
Meet Effie! She is a gorgeous and sweet Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees mix. We think she is about 4 years old and weighs 72 pounds, although she is looks much bigger that that. She found herself at an Alabama shelter and since no one claimed her, they called AGK for help. Effie is healthy - besides some pretty bad teeth, which were recently cleaned - she is ready for her new home. She loves attention from people and appears to love everyone! She is good with dogs, cats and appears to be house trained. If you are interested in adopting Effie, please visit our website at www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org
Effie is located at Adopt A Golden in Knoxville TN.

Destination Imagination
Our Destination Imagination team won our State Competition yesterday! Destination Imagination is a program that teaches creativity, teamwork and problem solving to kids. They give you six different challenges to solve over the course of the year and the one we chose this year is called coming attractions. We had to create a movie trailer that involves characters from two nations and showcase their interactions. We also had to create a live special effect that fits in with our trailer. We won the state finals for Connecticut and now we are going to globals!

Agility, Obedience and Acting!
Tuggles has now started his career! I have been teaching him lots of tricks like sit, down, shake, jump, roll over, bow and play dead! He is a very smart dog! He is also learning agility and he loves it! agility is a dog sport that involves a handler guiding a dog through a series of obstacle courses. Now that his leg is better he is very athletic and excels in the art of squirrel chasing! He seems to enjoy agility and I do to! Last but not least is that Tuggles is also learning to be an actor. He has been recruited to play the dog in the play Cheaper by the Dozen. That is exciting! I have been taking him to play rehearsals and he has been great!

Madagascar!
We have been in Madagascar for about two and a half weeks now and we are coming home in six days!! We went to Madagascar for Christmas and now I will write a quick overview of what we have been doing.
Week #1
Our flight from Paris to Madagascar arrived at about 1AM local time. We were really tired but made it through. When we got to the house we feasted on croissants, baguette and chocolate croissants. Then Luka, Tristan and I went to bed.
The rest of the week we explored, played soccer, swam, played piano, rode the motorcycle and played to our hearts content. Later on in the week I went to Le Cot for the first time this trip. Le Cot is a horse riding, swimming and tennis club. I only go there for the horses. The first horse I rode was named Valarian Star and the second was named Sheridan. I cantered jumpsnthat we 2'8" tall! It was really fun.
Week #2
This week we went to Anjajavy! It is a hotel in the north-east of Madagascar. It is awesome there. The pool is warmer than a bathtub, the ocean has waves and is also warm and the best of all..... It is home to four different lemur species! We saw the Coquerel's Sifaka, The Common brown lemur and the Sportive Lemur. On the way back from Anjajavy we met one of the worlds best lemur expert. His name is Russell A Mittermier. He gave Luka and I copies of his book.
Week #3
Now we are in week three with two days left of our vacation and we just came back from Antalaha where the majority of the vanilla is grown in Madagascar. We got a tour of the vanilla business because my grandpa owns the company. We got the see the vanilla plants in flower which is really rare and we also got to see how and where is is processed.
Now we just got back from Antalaha but we aren't going anywhere in the next two days so thats really all that happened besides Christmas but why bore you?
The worst part of this vacation is that I miss Tuggles SOOOOOOOO much it's killing me!
